I’ve just been informed that Darcus Howe has made his transition to join the ancestors. Darcus is another important player from the Ladbroke Grove stables and one of the key figures who inspired the rise of Black Power in Britain. Darcus at one point was one of the most vocal and important movers and shakers in the Black British experience. He was also the nephew of C.L.R James, one of the Caribbeans most noted and celebrated intellectuals. The giants are making space for a new wave of young radicals to take their place.
